Rested some.. Shopped some!!!

I did sit around and hang out on the Internet til about 1:30pm today and then I was off to find my new dishes! After going to Pier 1 Imports, World Market, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Macy's I can officially say I HAVE NEW DISHES and they didn't come in a box! I ended up with Sage Green dinner plates from World Market, salad plates with cakes and cupcakes on them with my sage green and orange on them from World Market also and after a long search I finally found ORANGE bowls at Macy's and I got them 55% off! Sweeeettttt! Let me tell you my Macy's story first though.. I went into Macy's (skinny jeans, crocs, a girl cut tshirt, no makeup and hair in the ponytail) I looked and looked and looked in the dinnerware department and no one would help me (I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman.. I have money and no one will help me.. LOL) after about 15 minutes this young girl said "Can I help you?" I was like yes please! Do you have any of these green dishes and are they sold separately? She went to check and said yes but we only have one plate left and no other stores have that color either so I said OK. How about these bowls do you have them in Tangerine Orange she went and checked and said yes we have them.. I said I need 8 she went in the back got them and brought them out and helped check me out (they were already 30% off) but she felt bad no one helped me so she gave me another 25% off.. I was like AWESOMEEEE!! So what started out crappy turned out amazing! I love my new dishes!

After I got back from getting my dishes we had to run back to Merriam, KS near the car dealer where the van is getting fixed to pick up our rental car (a Chevy Traverse) not sure if I like it or not but it will do til I get my van back, fixed and as good as new!

Home now watching TV with my hubby, Ethan is gone playing basketball at Calvary Bible College, Dalton is mowing the grass and Koda is guess what.. SLEEPING!

Early Monday..

       Had to get up early today to take the van in to get checked out.. another wheel bearing needs fixed and the transmission isn't acting right. We had taken it in before and was pretty much told we were NUTS but today John got it to do what it does and the guys like oh it shouldn't do that.. we were like No Duh! LOL So hopefully they will get it fixed this time! Thank God for extended warranties!!
      Already got my house all cleaned up and bed clothes washing.. just sitting here in my rocking chair chilling with my kitties right now! I'm hoping to just have a laid back day but I really need to go get cat food  before I run out and I want to go find us some new dishes and I really want ORANGE! Not sure how easy of a job that's going to be but we'll see I might actually just sit around today. (I'll blog this evening and let you know what my crazy mind decided to do. LOL)

My relaxing Sunday... NOT!!

OK I lied! I have not relaxed or sat around today! As a great lady (Melissa) once said to me.. Do you ever sit down?  The answer to that is usually NO! I got up at 9:30am this morning after going to bed at 3:30am but John wasn't having it and sent my butt back to bed so I got up at 11:00am and made my guys some eggs and toast before I headed down to tackle the MAN CAVE! OMG what a disgusting dust bowl full of dirty socks, clothes, and trash! Who lives like that? well it is now rearranged a bit and CLEAN!!! Just Ewwwww! That's all I can say! While down there I rearranged Kenzie's toy area and went through her toys to get rid of the baby ones since shes almost a BIG 5 yr old now! Then headed upstairs and went through the cup and dish cabinet to clear out what we don't use or want anymore and cleaned out the entry way closet. Only thing left to spring clean upstairs is the junk drawers and 3 cabinets below them in the kitchen and then I will be ready for my yard sale! But let me just say MY BODY HURTS! I feel like Ive been ran over by a Mack truck!

Hey sis.. thanks for following me! Your the only new follower I have so THANKS! Oh and John hung up grandpas old lamp in the living room for me today! Its weird the way it hangs but it will work!

Ethan is (as I type this) on the Amtrak headed back home to his momma! I have missed him  but I will say its been soooo quiet here without him! I really hope he had a great time with Ray this weekend! I hope you enjoyed him too Ray and tell Ashelyne thanks for telling him to pull his pants up I need all the help I can get on that subject! LOL
OK I'm back had to play my turns on Words with Friends! I'm trying really hard to beat both Heather T. and Ray in that game! Its one of my life missions right now! LOL Oh and I don't play that game against John anymore he kicks my ass every time and its just not fun!  Sorry babe but I don't know all them big crazy words but I still love ya!

Friday & Saturday

     Friday.. I spent the day updating my blog! Adding pictures and other things I love it! Its really starting to take shape! Then around 3:30pm we headed to Lee's Summit to put Ethan and Kenzie on the Amtrak train to head to STL... Kenzie was going home to her mom and Ethan was going to visit his biological father for the first time ever. I'm always sad to say good bye to one of my boys even if it is just for the weekend! Momma loves them! After that I headed home to pick up John and Koda and off to the auction we went.. found a few good deals! I got my Bean a whole tub of Bratz dolls for CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP!! She is going to love them! After the auction we headed to eat @ IHOP after picking Dalton up from his track meet. Then it was BED TIME!

     Saturday... John woke me up wanting to know if I wanted to go to some yard sales so off we went and THEY SUCKED!! Thankfully John had done an Internet search before we headed out and he found a new auction house so we went to the 1pm auction in Olathe. There was ALOT of JUNK but we found a few goodies! I got 2 jars and one big baggie is GUESS WHAT? YEP that's right VINTAGE BUTTONS!!! Soooo excited!! Took the boys out to dinner again tonight ( I feel a weight gain coming on.. LOL) and then after we got home I started cleaning and rearranging the house around 10:00pm and I just finished at 2:15am!! I am exhausted!!!

      Tomorrow is a rest and relax day unless I get the cleaning bug again and then that could change!

Errands, Errands, Errands!

I feel like I haven't hardly sat down today! Oh that's cuz I haven't! I have been going since 8:30am and I'm still doing laundry as I type this! Today was a day of bill paying, grocery shopping, office supply getting, house cleaning, and still getting some running (13:38 mile tonight) in this evening! I still have this spring cold and its really not working for me.. it can move on anytime now! Next victim please! LOL
After I picked up Dalton from track practice I took him to the barber shop and he got his hair cut and a design in it. It looks really awesome!
This evening after running a mile with Dalton (thanks buddy for going with mom) I got Ethan and Kenzie all ready to head to STL tomorrow! I'll sure miss my Bean but grandma is ready for a break from preschoolers!! I hope Ethan has a great weekend with his biological father even though I know I'll cry when he gets on that train.. hes my baby! I'm a dork I know! Dad and I will be there Sunday night to get you to hear about how your weekend was!

Super Exciting Weigh In Wednesday!

    Today was Weigh In Wednesday and I knew I had had a good week I just felt it and usually your gut is right when it comes to weighing in.. I lost another half an inch this week (total of 32 inches so far)  but did much better in the pounds department.. 3.6 POUNDS!!! That's a total of 29.6 pounds! I was hoping for that extra 0.4 for my 30 pounds but I'm not complaining I'll get it next week!
    Went out to dinner tonight with my adorkable hubby and my super sweet sister in law Sharonnnnnnnnnnn.. LOL ended up at Bob Evans and I got a grilled chicken sandwich and carrots but I did splurge and have mashed potatoes and a dinner roll.. but I tracked it all! So I'm good!
     Only have 2 more days with my Bean before she heads back home Friday with Uncle Ethan.. she is alot different this time than she has been in the past! She has quite a little attitude for a 4 yr old (cant believe she'll be 5 a month from today).. I miss my sweet Jelly Bean but Damnma still loves her! We spent alot of time today working on her numbers, letters, and her name for kindergarten but that had its moments! It was almost like I was bugging her! She is just to much of a princess to have to think about school.. LOL I'll pray for you Megs I think you're going to need it! LMAO!
     Tomorrow I need to run a ton of errands,go to the store to get Ethan and Bean some snacks for the train and take Dalton to get his haircut.. He wants a design in his head now too! Its just hair it grows back!
     I still cant believe it was 94 degrees today we broke the record from 1989 of 91 degrees.. All I got to say is IT WAS TOO DAMN HOT TODAY FOR APRIL!!

I needed today... :)

     Wake up this morning with a spring cold so I spent the day relaxing in my jammies watching TV with my Bean.. I needed today! I have been sooo exhausted and just needed today to catch my breath! 
      Had circuit Zumba tonight for 30 minutes and then did some abs for 20  minutes or so. Tomorrow is Weigh In Wednesday! I'm feeling pretty good about it! Tonight for dinner I had blackened salmon and salad.. YUMMY!!!
      Pretty boring day here today but I'm OK with that! Sitting here watching Fashion Star with Dalton.. love this show! Kenzie has already passed out on the couch again tonight.. Dance class (Zumba) must have wore her out!

Beautiful Monday!

       Last night after I went to bed my throat started hurting and has continued to be sore all day today! I am not a nice person when I'm sick I hope it goes away!
       This morning I got up and picked up my house and worked on laundry all day then me and my granddaughter headed to the park but we WALKED to the park or I should say I walked! She rode in the stroller.. 4.84 miles today! My legs hurt but I will be happy come Weigh In Wednesday! Tuesday and Wednesday are supposed to be SUPER HOT here in KC... not sure I'm excited about it but its coming whether I like it or not!
       I was really good with my points today and I earned several Activity Points.. I'm really hoping to lose the 1.8lbs I gained last week plus some.. that would be AWESOME!
      Tomorrow night is Zumba or as Bean calls it dance class! LOL I miss Zumba its been 2 weeks since Ive had a class!!
       Not much going on here today just got my work done, my exercise in, and watched what I ate so it was very successful!

Mincher & Daly KC weekend!

      Sorry I haven't blogged in a few days but my sister and her family have been here and I haven't even been on my computer! They arrived around 11:00pm Friday night so we sat up and chatted for a bit before we all hit the hay before our busy day the next day.
      Saturday morning John and Charlie got up super early and headed out to Kansas Speedway to enjoy the activities and the truck race while Heather and I took the kids to Crown Center for awhile and then to the Moon Marble factory in Bonner Springs, KS..what an awesome place! The kids got some cool marbles and got to watch a guy make a marble. Its amazing how beautiful some of the marbles are!! That evening the adults went off to Hamburger Mary's to watch a drag queen show.. fun fun time! Loved every minute of it! Then back home to sit around the dining room table and chat for a while before we went to bed @ 1:00am.. EXHAUSTED!!
     This morning John and Charlie got up early again to head back to the speedway to enjoy their Track Passes and check out pit road before the STP 400 began at noon. Heather and I with the 2 girls (Kenzie & Ashley) headed off to the City Market downtown.. got lots of fresh fruits and veggies and some great deals at the City Market flea market.. lots of new clothes for Kenzie... we went through her drawer the other day and she had outgrown most of her stuff here at Damnma and Papa's so we had to restock.. LOL after that was a yummy lunch @ Chipotle in the Power and Light District before we headed off to Cargo Largo in Independence! Love that place too.. don't get there very often though!  Around 4:00pm we headed back to my house and Charlie and John had returned from the track so they headed home after a super busy but fun weekend! I got my house all picked up (my cats are thanking me for cleaning their litter boxes finally) and laundry is going.
     Tomorrow I am relaxing, watching what I eat, and going to try to finally get some exercise in.

Glad Charlie, my sister,  and the kids came out here to KC! Hope they had fun! Glad you guys made it home safely! Love you!

Back home.. let the craziness begin!

   Sorry I didn't blog last night but after driving home and going to the grocery store I was exhausted and went to bed early. Its good to be home but boy was my house a TOTAL MESS! I started cleaning this morning at 9:30am and didn't finish til 5:30 this evening (still working on some laundry). I decided today to do some major spring cleaning of my bedroom.. shoes, purses, clothes, old bras, socks, you name it it got organized and cleaned out! NINE trash bags FULL but since Ive lost almost 30 pounds lots of old clothes are flying out of the closet and new ones are filling it up!
   This evening I went with my Bean to Zumba but class was cancelled cuz no one else showed up. (Sorry you got a flat tire Heather on the way there)  I will be going all 3 nights next week I got some Zumba to catch up on!
    Oh Weigh In Wednesday was AWFUL this week! I gained 1.8 lbs. but sitting at the hospital, sitting at the funeral home, and just hanging with family I didn't get much activity in so I kinda expected it! I will get it back off no worries there!
     I brought my Bean back home with me til the 27th and then Ethan will take her back home on the train to her mom while he goes to meet his biological father. After chatting with Ray for 3.5 hours the other night I have no doubt they will get along great! John will always be Ethan's dad but he will have another male role model in his life and there cant be any harm in that as long as its a healthy relationship!
     Supposed to storm here tonight in KC.. great sleeping weather. Tomorrow is another busy day for me.. my sister and her family will be here tomorrow night!

Long day today!

    What a long day! I kept Ashley today while Heather went to work. We went to the Big Goodwill and had White Castles for lunch (wish we had them in KC). Then we hurried and headed back here to Heather's so I could pick up the house before I ran to pick her boys up from school. Then we headed back and I picked up a few more things before I got in the shower and got cleaned up to go to La Pachanga's (favorite place EVER besides Chipotle) with my dad and step mom for dinner at 5:30 After dinner I headed to Steak n Shake and met up with Ethan's bio dad to chat with him about Ethan coming and meeting him for the first time. Spent 3.5 hours talking and had a great time! I think Ethan will be very happy and comfortable as long as the drama stays away! Thanks Ray for understanding why I did what I did  and being so great about everything I really appreciate it for Ethan's sake! I hope you guys have a great time when he comes down!
     I'm back at Heathers now... need to get my stuffed all packed up cuz I'M GOING HOME TOMORROW!! Woooohoooooo! Miss my hubby and my boys like crazy!
     Its been a fun week here with my sister and kids even though it was sad that my uncle passed away but I am ready to be back home with my family, my puppies, and kitties and I wont miss my sister much shes coming out to KC this weekend so she will only miss me for 2 days! LOL
   Tomorrow is Weigh In Wednesday I have a feeling its not going to be great but I'll take whatever it is and get back on track this coming week after I get home and get back to my normal routine. Going to weigh in in Arnold before I hit the road to head home tomorrow morning! Wish me luck I'm going to need it I think!

Uncles funeral and busy evening

     Today was the day we finally said our good byes to Uncle Sonny and laid him to rest next to his first wife Aunt Lisa who died 25 yrs ago to cancer. He will be missed and was loved by many.While at the cemetery visited my grandparents  and my great grandparents grave site on my grandmas side. After the funeral went to the luncheon the Sacred Heart did for his 2nd wife (Aunt Barbara) and the family and had a great time chatting with my cousins. After that I headed to Imperial to visit the grave site of my great grandparents on my grandpas side.. I had never been to that cemetery before so was very excited to know where they were. Then I was off to a couple of thrift stores before I headed back to my sisters for the evening.
     This evening we went to Aunt Jackie's to see her new kitchen (love it) and visit for a few. Then it was off to moms to get a few things she didn't want anymore but of course she was crabby and didn't want to visit so I have seen my mom maybe 4 hours since I've been here.. oh well it is what it is I guess!
     After we got back to my sisters.. Heather, Ashley and I went for a walk/run trying to still get in as much exercise as I can but its been hard being as busy as I've been since I've been here.

Watching some TV with my sister.. watching Ashley tomorrow while Heather goes to work not sure what we're doing yet. Have a great night!

Day with my niece and nephews and Uncle Sonnys evening visitation

     Today Heather and Charlie went for a few hours to get my sister some new sexy jeans so I watched the kids while they went. We picked up a few things around the house and then Ashley, Kyle and I went for a 2 mile walk. Finally got in some exercise today!!
    This evening was my uncles visitation at the funeral home.. lots of cousins, aunts, uncles, other family members I haven't seen since I was a little girl. I think the highlight of my evening was talking with my great aunts Nellie and Edna (my grandfathers sisters) they are sooo cute! Nellie is 88 yrs old and sharp as a tack.. she was asking about my phone (an android) and asking how they work so I was showing her all the fun stuff you can do on them. She looked at pictures of my kids and of my sister and her kids. We just talked and talked. Then my great aunt Edna is 83 yrs old she has some health issues but seemed very happy to be able to be there. She looks just like my grandfather! It was amazing! My dad handled tonight rather well I thought. Tomorrow will be a different story I'm sure. After the visitation we (me, my dad and stepmother Pat) went to Burger King for some dinner. Now I am back at Heathers and it is storming pretty good outside.
   I'm going home Wednesday and I'm taking my grandbaby back with me.. soooo excited! Thank you Meagan for getting that worked out for us to be about to have her!

A day with my niece

Had a very late night last night stayed up and did some laundry for my sister so I got to sleep in for a little bit this morning before I had to get up and go get Ashley from preschool. We had to run an errand for my mom and then we went eat lunch at Steak n Shake cuz she was starving and couldn't take it anymore.. LOL crazy kid! Then off we went to a couple of thrift stores during the pouring down storms today! Then had to run to get Kyle from school.. Heather got home from work and we headed to the big Goodwill in STL and then Chipotle for dinner. Been a long day with having Ashley all day but it was fun! Not sure what tomorrow is going to bring. Sorry tonights blog is kinda boring but I'm tired and not really in blog mode tonight!

RIP Uncle Sonny

Today was a rough day.. Got to the hospital around 11am and waited for the doctors to finish the EEG and give the family the results. We were told that the doctor would not be in til 6-7pm and my cousin was not OK with that! She went to the nurses and said she wanted the results read there was no reason to keep dragging it out. There was either brain activity or there wasn't! So a few hours later the doctor spoke with her and she said she just needed a yes or no brain activity or not.. the answer was no QUALITY brain activity. He was gone! So after doing some paperwork and the nurses getting the orders he was removed from life support and peacefully passed away around 4pm this evening. He was only 60 yrs old and full of life! I know I will certainly miss him a lot but he is with grandma, grandpa, and his 1st wife (Aunt Lisa) who died of cancer 25 yrs ago.  RIP Uncle Sonny!!
   Spent the evening with my sister, my mom, my Aunt Tammy and my niece and nephews! Makes you realize life is short and your family can be taken from you at anytime.
   Tomorrow I am picking up my niece and nephews from school to give my sisters MIL a break and to spend some time with them. I am exhausted.. my legs really hurt tonight! Good Night!

Sad Day Ahead..

Uncle Sonny's body is not warming up so the family is meeting at the hospital at 11am... more news later but it isnt looking good!

Sad family day and stunned weigh in!

    What a crazy last 2 days its been ... where to begin! Yesterday evening my dad called me and let me know my Uncle Sonny had a possible heart attack and was in ICU at JMH and it didn't look good but he would know more this morning. This morning they did an EEG on my uncle and it showed no brain activity but since they have put  him in a coma to help with the swelling in his brain they cant be sure this is accurate so tonight at 1am (Thursday morning) they are going turn the machine off that is keeping him in a coma and keeping his body temperature down and for 6 hours will allow his body to warm on its own after that they will help him warm up if hes not on his own and then will redo the EEG to make sure there is still no brain activity. The nurse we talked to tonight said it isn't looking good he isn't doing any of the things other people do who still have brain activity so right now we will just pray they are wrong and that he wakes up without any damage. So after last night and this mornings call I decided the best place for me is here in St. Louis with my family so that's where I am and I'm not sure for how long right now I'm thinking at least til next Wednesday.
      But before I headed this way I had to rush pick up my house, do some of my laundry and then head off to my weigh in.. ITS WEIGH IN WEDNESDAY!  I was NOT looking forward to this weeks weigh in at all.. I had eaten like crap but I had tracked every bite of it! Fried pork chops, pepperoni pizza, a soda, you name it NOT GOOD! So it really put me in a blah mood and I didn't want to do anything and Tuesday that's what I did absolutely NOTHING! I felt awful and guilty! So I went and faced the nasty scale and I LOST 1.6 lbs this week! I about fell over! I was totally stunned and shocked but sooo happy! So far now I have lost a total of 27.8 lbs! I weigh 180.2 so this next week is my week to get out of the 180's I'm sooo excited about it! I only lost half an inch this week but I'll take it! That half an inch was around my waist I have went from a 41.5 inch waist to a 33 inch waist! AWESOMEEEEE!
      Tomorrow we will learn more about Uncle Sonny until then please keep him and his daughter (Christie) in your prayers. Good Night!

Where did today go?

Today just flew by.. picked up the house (my daily norm) and then went with John to check on getting a booth at an antique mall and the rent on them is ALOT more than we ever imagined! We keep going over the pros and cons but just aren't sure yet so we'll see. Then spent the rest of the afternoon and evening with my SIL Sharon. This week has just been nuts I have barely exercised at all and I haven't eaten the best either but I have tracked it all and still have weekly points left over. John isn't feeling good tonight so he went to bed early and I'm just sitting around catching up on all my shows. Just feeling blah lately!

Relaxing Easter Day!

   Today was a great day.. did my normal pick up and then headed to Home Depot with John and Koda to check on landscape timbers for my strawberry bed and my onion bed. Getting excited about my garden this year! We bought some exterior lights for the house and John and Koda installed one together and John did the other two by himself Koda had done gave up.. LOL
    I made the guys their favorite meal for Easter.. fried pork chops, mashed potatoes with homemade gravy, corn, peas and rolls. I decided since its a holiday I was eating the same thing but I didn't even clean my plate so I feel good about it and it was YUMMY! Thanks babe for helping me clean up the kitchen I appreciate it!
    I really need to work on some laundry but I'm just not in the mood so that's on tomorrows list... also need to get in a walk/run tomorrow. Installed the Endomondo app on my phone after seeing Rebecca use it.. cant wait to see if it works for me!
    I have decided I am going to run the Monster Dash 5K in October so I have 6 month 3 weeks to work on my running! I'm pretty excited about it!
 I'm going to go play some Pinochle before bed! Hope you all had a fabulous Easter Day!

Junk Hunting in the West Bottoms

Dalton has been asking for sometime for a desk in his room to do his homework so I gave him my desk that was in the dining room but ended up with a huge empty spot so I begged John to go with me to Urban Mining (vintage store that I love in Westport) to see if I could find a bookshelf or an off the wall funky piece of furniture to put there and he said "Sure lets go!" There was one bookshelf there I liked but of course it wasn't for sale so as we were headed out the door we found some flyers for other vintage repurposed shops that are only open First Friday weekend in the West Bottoms so off we went! We went to a new one called House of Myriad (grand opening today) what an awesome building and great prices.. ended up finding an awesome piece of artwork there and bought it for 12 bucks! Oh and its a non-profit even better! After going to a few more places we did find a very nice bookshelf and became the owners after John and the dealer lady finished haggling on the price. They were both having a blast with that! LOL Definitely will go down there again for First Friday weekend sales.. fun fun!
Then it was off to Wal Mart to get the boys Easter goodies (never too old for the Easter Bunny) and to the grocery store for a few things before we got dinner and headed home... very long day, lots of walking but I love junk hunting with my hubby!

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

Good Morning!

Sorry I didn't get around to posting last night but we didn't get home til late and I was exhausted! Yesterday was pretty boring around here for the most part which is a VERY rare thing so I happily took it! I did my normal everyday pick up, then played a few games, ran to the post office and stopped by the laundromat to talk to Terri for a few. When John finished working we decided to go to the auction again so off we went with Dalton (our sidekick) wasn't much there last night. I was sooo excited about this box of CD's I couldn't stand it! It was 80's music from rock to rap then after waiting all night for them to come up we were told they were EMPTY cases.. I was like OMG NOOOOOOOOO! I loved every musician in that box! I was soooo bummed but oh well didn't need to spend the money anyway. We then headed off to IHOP here in Grandview which I have to say was AWFUL!!!! Did you get that? It was AWFUL! The staff there all acted like they were about 9 yrs old. Yelling and acting like they are at a party I was like seriously people! The food was dry and not appealing at all. We finally just finished and got up to pay and as we were paying they got even louder I finally said I'm going outside this is nuts in here and the two girls at the register gave me a dirty look but I could have cared less. That was just insane there was no professionalism at all in that place! After that came home and got my animals all situated for bed and off I went to bed! Hope you all had a great Good Friday!      Whew! What a day! I decided today was the day I needed to do some Spring Cleaning! I cleaned out cabinets, closets, you  name it it got cleaned today! 5.5 hours of CLEANING! I'm exhausted! Then somewhere in there I found the strength to go to Zumba tonight.. no one showed up so we did an abs class tonight! My abs hate me and Terri right now! They hurt sooo bad!
    Koda came home from school today with quite the attitude again (this is becoming a normal thing lately) He is very disrespectful to me and Ive about had enough. Koda wants to go in the Marine Corps. after he gets out of high school and I fought it for years but now I'm beginning to think that's the best thing for him so I'm OK with it so John took him to talk to the recruiter tonight so maybe he can figure out you cant treat people like that especially his mother and he cant be soooo lazy! Marines AREN'T lazy! I'm hoping he got an awakening but we shall see!
    Dalton had another track meet tonight he got 15th out of 30 in the mile but again ran his best time ever 5:49 so I'm very proud of him! He is such an easy kid.. thank God!
    I made the guys spareribs and corn on the cob for dinner (John finished it while I went to track meet and Zumba class) but John made me salmon.. thanks babe!

Exciting day for me!

Today was of course Weigh In Wednesday and I lost 2.2lbs this week for a total of 26.2 so far! At my meeting I received my 25lb charm.. which I was very excited about! Wooohoooo! This week our meeting was about finding an anchor which can be an object, phrase, a memory, or whatever helps keep you on track. I have 2 anchors.. my pedometer I go NO WHERE without it! It is my constant reminder to keep moving and my other is a phrase.. Nothing Taste As Good As Skinny Feels!!! This helps me daily cuz I have been skinny before and I miss how I looked and I want it back and I am closer to that again everyday!
After my meeting I needed to run to Wal-Mart and get a few things and then I stopped at Salvation Army (love that store) and I found a Victoria Secret bra in my size for 2.99 and Victoria Secret pajama set for 5.99 and a few clothes items. Its sooo nice to be able to go in stores now and there are actually cute clothes on the rack that FIT me!
Tonight John and I are going to dinner with my SIL Sharon to catch up... always a good time! Might post again before bed or might not we'll just see how I feel! Have a great evening!

It's Weigh In Wednesday! I always do my measurements before I head off to my WW meeting so this week I have lost another 1.5 inches for a grand total of...




 wait for it.....




 31 inches!!!




Here is the breakdown..
Waist... 8 inches
Hips...7.5 inches
Bust... 9 inches
Arms...2 inches
Thigh...4.5 inches!!

This makes me sooo happy! I'll be back later to post what the evil scale has been nice enough to give me this week!

15 minutes of abs and then 2 hours of Zumba! OMG! My arms hurt, my hips hurt, my knees are screaming and my ankles are yelling for mercy! LOL But I made it! Fingers crossed for an awesome weigh in tomorrow! Thanks for meeting me tonight Heather.. hope you liked it and had fun!

Dalton had a track meet today at Raytown High School.. he was 3rd in the mile and 3rd in the 4x400 relay he's in.. I think he did a great job!

Well guess I better get started.. where to begin! Its Tuesday wooooooohooooooo! I've had a pretty easy day today and for that I am very grateful after working on the rock walkway the past two days.. my sunburn is screaming and my body just hurts! But tonight is Zumba (2 classes = 2 hours of Terri trying to kill me) but I am forever grateful for her! Heather is going with me tonight to the first class! I hope she likes it as much as I do. Tomorrow is weigh in day and I feel like its going to be an awesome week with all the yard work we have done this past weekend and yesterday and I have really tried to leave the bread alone this week! So far I have lost 24 pounds so right now I am aiming at 30 by the end of April.. I think I can do that!! Dalton has his first track meet today and I literally just remembered it so I need to get up off my behind and get busy.. Oops!
